Fresh roasted coffee and a fresh hipster haircut
Devoción, Rudy’s Barbershop and Tanner Leather Goods
When you go to Williamsburg, you should be thirsty for coffee — there are so many places to get great coffee here that you can’t leave without getting a cup!
One of the cafés that have recently opened here is Devoción on Grand Street, a cool place with in-house roasting. Their philosophy is to serve the finest and freshest coffee, pure and simple. Their beans are harvested in Colombia, dry-milled in Bogota and shipped to the US ten days after harvest for roasting. The result: coffee that is as fresh as possible.
Down the street is a cool barbershop called Rudy’s. Since we’ve been in New York, Rudy’s location has had a number of different pop-up shops within it. The space is awesome — really worth a visit. I can also recommend their products: 1-2-3 shampoo, conditioner and body soap, which you can also find at the Ace Hotels. Within Rudy’s is a little pop-up shop of Tanner leather goods. I want their natural leather strap for my camera!
